Back to Culture An Interview with J.R.Luxor

Curi black red corset cover BDSM Romance – How One Man Recruited and Trained A sub By J.R.Luxor chronicles the deliberate effort by a man to choose in advance what his next girlfriend will be like. He wants to indulge his desire to have a sexual relationship where he is the dominant partner over a submissive female. He makes a commitment to find an attractive, unattached woman with submissive and masochistic tendencies because he likes to be the boss in a relationship and he likes rough sex. This book is available on the link above FOR FREE this week only! I asked the writing duo a few questions about the book and why you should read it…

What is the main focus of your book and what compelled you to write it?
“BDSM Romance – How One Man Recruited and Trained a sub” provides examples of methods actually used by a man to find partners for bondage sex. It discussed the problems of such a search, the choices of preferences and practices in the BDSM world and one individual’s techniques for finding such a partner as efficiently as possible. Eight characters – real people – provide models of the various categories and specialties practiced by this world. It also informs the reader that introspection is required to determine one’s own natural inclinations. We wrote it to help others see their own journey of discovery more clearly by using the eight characters as a baseline.

Describe your book in 3 words…
Examples – Explanations – Introspection

Why should people buy it?
They should buy it to be aware of the choices and variations of practices and perspectives in BDSM relationships. Case studies provide examples and models of four males and four females, all of whom have different preferences and approaches toward partners.

The thing I enjoy about BDSM the most is…
The power dynamic between controller and controlee, dominant and submissive.

And the worst…
Pain. I am not one who enjoys pain, but the practice and preference of individuals who like pain from their partner are discussed, including the desired feelings it provides for the giver of pain and the different desired feelings for the recipient.

When I think of BDSM I think of…
Head games, the seduction of a submissive and how hot the dom can make it if they are dedicated to creating activities that challenge both parties.

What do you think people’s most common misconception of BDSM is?
That you must be a whack job to enjoy it.

How do you rate 50 Shades of Grey and the hype surrounding it?
We haven’t read it actually. We didn’t want it be influenced for our book

If you were going to a desert island for six months and could only take 3 items from your dungeon what would they be and why?
Cuffs, chain, collar. When I dress in the role I feel more dedicated and connected with the role. I don’t need implements to create pain. I need reminders of the power I have willingly surrendered.

If you could choose anyone past or present to (willingly) punish, who would it be?
We’re working very hard on avoiding this kind of thought as much as possible if you really mean punish, as in crucify, castrate or burn. If you mean choose a recipient for a sex bondage scene, then Penny Pax, an actress seen on the Sex and Submission site of Kink.com.

And likewise who would you reward?
The Butterfly Goddess, aka MILF Chef.

How important do you regard the use of a safeword?
Very. The safeword frees the Dom to achieve the desired feelings in Dom and sub without being burdened by kvetching about going too far or too fast.

Where can people get a copy of your book?
Amazon free for 5 days then just $.99 for another 3 months

What’s next for you?
Writing, writing and more writing. We have some books in us and we want to expose them to the world.
